I’m guessing that you’ve clicked on the link because you want to lose weight. You’re not alone!
I’ve had a lot of clients just like you. People who are tired of the dieting yo-yo. Losing weight, putting it on again, losing weight, putting it on again. Feeling that thinking about food takes up their whole day. Hiding the amount they eat from their loved ones, eating secretly and getting rid of the evidence. Wishing that they could give up the sugar, crisps, fizzy drinks. Whatever is your thing – that feeling that you just need a bit more of that one thing!
I’ve had one client recently, let’s say he was called Pete, who felt he was totally reliant on chocolate for his feeling of well-being. He knew it and he hated it. But he didn’t know what to do about it. He just wanted food to be a normal part of his day. Not this overwhelming feeling of ‘when can I have my chocolate’ that his world had become.
The problem was that he had a very strong emotional link to food. This stemmed from his childhood. Feelings of not being loved or good enough. It’s amazing how many people I work with who have similar emotional links to food.
I worked with Pete to help him to understand this link and re-adjust those feelings. Now he feels completely different about food in general and particularly chocolate. Food has just become a normal part of his day – sometimes he eats chocolate and some days he doesn’t, and that’s just the way he wanted it. Oh ……… and the weight is dropping off too.
I’m telling you this story because I know that I can help other people just like Pete. Call me for an initial chat about how I can help you too.
